DairyBusiness brings innovative promotion and advertising opportunities to dairy marketers.
■ Editorial content that covers the national scene, as well as addressing the differences between dairying in the Western U.S and the Eastern U.S.
■ Better targeted circulation to all 100+ herds
■ And now advertisers can measure advertising response PLUS access hot prospect leads by placing theiradvertising in Western and Eastern DairyBusiness.
Beginning January 2009, all 100+ head dairy producers throughout the entire U.S. will receive one of two very special editions of DairyBusiness magazines. The market-leading Western DairyBusiness will continue to serve the 15 western states with additional coverage for Nebraska and the Dakotas. For producers throughout the Great Lakes Region, the Northeast and now the Southeast, Eastern DairyBusiness will inform and engage the industry.
These editions are unique in many ways.
In addition to the 100+ herd target, which
represents almost 8 million head, or 92% of
the Nation’s top producing milk cows, these
two newly focused editions will represent the
following value for advertisers:
EDITORIAL
■ Content will be specific and relevant to
each region, with the addition of a special
monthly National DairyBusiness Update, addressing
those key business topics and issues
important to all producers across the country.
More exciting, editors will conduct organized
research each month on the relevant
issue themes for the benefit of readers and
advertisers, who will have an opportunity to
participate.
RESPONSE MEASUREMENT
■ Speaking of response….the
new DairyBusiness magazines
will offer advertisers a direct
response tool that tracks and
reports the information requests
from each reader for every ad
in every issue. Here’s how it
works…
|
|
RESPONSE
TRACKING
■ Every ad
has a reader response
number
tied to a Reader
Response Card
in each issue.
In every issue,
instructions directing
readers to go to
the DairyBusiness
website www.
DairyBusiness.com to request information
online from advertisers is part of the package.
While on the website, readers will be invited
to visit each advertiser’s website via an online
Reader Response Card.
For those advertisers who choose to run their
ads with a reader response postcard (BRC),
DairyBusiness will also gather and report the responses on the advertiser’s personal and
confidential page.
And, after each issue is mailed, a push e-mail
will be directed to all readers with e-mail addresses
inviting them to the web site in order
to respond to the advertising.
What happens then?
RESPONSE REPORTING
■ Every time a reader responds to an advertiser’s
ad, either in the magazine, or online,
DairyBusiness will capture that reader’s
information and confidentially post it to each
advertiser’s personal report page, accessible
only by the advertiser.
DairyBusiness will then append all the reader’s
demographics to the record, both dairy
and crop information, and make that available
to each advertiser as part of the package,
all at no additional cost to the advertiser. The
online report of all responding readers will
be available 24/7 by simply logging in and
viewing or downloading the report.
VALIDATES YOUR
ADVERTISING INVESTMENT
■ This is the first direct response and reporting
program in print and on the web available
to dairy marketers. It’s the very best way
to capture, validate and measure advertising
response.
LOWER AD RATES
■ With all the added value, we still can offer
even more - National Buy ad rates lower than
ever before. With more efficient production
and distribution, we are able to reduce prices
by almost $3000 for a full page. Check the
following rate card to get specifics for our ad
schedule planning. |
CIRCULATION
■ The two DairyBusiness magazines are
BPA audited. For many years, Western
DairyBusiness has circulated to all licensed
milk producers in the Western states and will
continue with the addition of the Dakotas and
Nebraska. Complete market coverage and a
high percentage of “one year, direct request”
continue to characterize the current BPA
audit data.
Eastern DairyBusiness magazine, with circulation
developed from the audited Midwest
and Northeast pubs, will circulate to all the
herds of 100-plus head in the eastern half of
the U.S. Added will be dairy producers, vets
and nutritionists from the 11 southeastern
states including the active dairy states of Virginia,
Kentucky, Florida and the Carolinas.
The source of this data is the BPA audited file
of Farm Market iD.
The 100-plus head herds number over 15,000
nationally and produced about 81% of U.S.
milk production in 2007 and contain 77% of
the nation’s dairy cows. This is the market
that is growing and dynamic, your best prospects
for today’s products and services.
PAPER STOCK
■ New and upgraded paper stock which not
only makes for a higher quality product, both
in look and feel, but it also offers advertisers
improved ad reproduction and readability,
and thus better response.
DIRECT RESPONSE PUBLICATIONS
■ New for 2009 are three
editions of ExpoSure, direct
response product guides for the
western ag industry (California
and World Ag Expo Editions in
June and December) and the
dairy market (World Dairy
Expo Edition in September).
These unique publications are made to order
to get… and measure…
response to your advertising.
