MADISON, WIS. – Miss Apple Snapple-Red-ET, owned by MilkSource Genetics, Kaukauna, Wis., received the honor of being named the 2016 World Dairy Expo International Futurity Champion on Saturday, October 8. She was awarded with the $1,000 Grand Champion Cash Award, sponsored by Trans Ova Genetics. Earlier in the week, Snapple took home first place in the Red & White 2016 World Dairy Expo International Futurity, and placed second in her class of Junior Three-Year-Old cows.

Reserve Champion Futurity honors went to the winning Jersey. Royalty Ridge Tequila Circus-ET, owned by River Valley Farm, Ben, Andy, Blessing and Grace Sauder, Tremont, Ill. She received a $500 cash award, sponsored by Trans Ova Genetics.

MADISON, WIS. – Every year, the World Dairy Expo Herdsmanship Contest highlights the dedication and drive of individuals in the dairy industry. Herdsmanship Awards are given to individuals or dairy farms demonstrating exemplary exhibit organization, cleanliness and cooperation with fellow exhibitors and show management. This year, Vogue Cattle Co., Brighton, Ont., was named the World Dairy Expo Overall Herdsmanship winner.

MADISON, WIS. – For the first time, World Dairy Expo® presented daily Outstanding Booth Awards highlighting the dedication and drive of participating companies in the Trade Show. Outstanding Booth Awards are given to companies or organizations with a strong presentation and promotion of a product, brand or company. Selection criteria include an overall functional booth, a booth that possesses stopping power by utilizing theme, design and relevance and a staff that is approachable and professional. Also new this year, was the addition of an Overall Outstanding Booth Award that was presented to Lely on Saturday afternoon, October 8.
