BouMatic names Jorge Prieto VP Global Sales

MADISON, Wis. - BouMatic®, global dairy equipment and chemical manufacturer, announces the executive appointment of Jorge Prieto to Vice President, Global Sales as part of the company’s continuing plan to grow sales and expand distribution into dairy markets worldwide.

 “We are pleased to name a true veteran of the dairy industry, Jorge Prieto, to the position of Vice President of Global Sales,” said Robert Luna, BouMatic President. “Prieto’s experience and background in sales and sales development will help drive BouMatic’s growth and expansion into dairy markets throughout the world. Prieto came to BouMatic six years ago from Babson Bros. Co. (Surge) where he was responsible for expanding sales in Europe, Latin America and Asia as Vice President, International Sales. In more than thirty years in the dairy industry, Prieto also held positions at the Coburn Co., Dairy Strategies, Agri Development Group and also was an independent consultant for companies searching for expertise in global sales and distribution.

Born in Chile, Prieto’s career in the dairy industry started at a milk processing plant in Chile and was followed by several years of additional dairy related studies in Denmark & Uruguay. He worked as a Sales Manager for a milking equipment distributor and dairy consultant before bringing his family to the United States in 1985.
