Danielle Brown recognized for writing excellence during Cooperative Communicators Association Conference
Recently, the Select Sires Communications team was honored during the annual Cooperative Communicators Association (CCA) Institute held this year in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Each year members of CCA can enter the Communications Contest in the divisions of writing, publications, photography and programs and projects. This year more than 600 entries were received across all categories. Seasoned professionals serve as judges who offer instructional critiques. Top-rated entries earn recognition at the annual CCA Institute. This year Danielle Brown, sales and marketing communications specialist for Select Sires Inc. received recognition in the writing division for her press release titled “Innovative Improvement Made to gender SELECTed™ Sorting Procedures,” which highlighted the cutting-edge research that Select Sires has conducted to improve the fertility of sex-sorted semen for the benefit of the entire dairy industry.
CCA is an organization of 350 professionals who communicate for cooperatives. The organization is unique in both its mission and membership. CCA works toward helping members excel in communications by providing learning opportunities – from writing, photography and editing to video, layout and design.
