Ag Career Days Returns to Pagels Ponderosa DairyPrint
April 3, 2014 -- The Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation (KCEDC) is proud to announce the return of Ag Career Days at Pagel’s Ponderosa Dairy on April 10th and 11th. Over 900 seventh and eighth grade students from Algoma, Denmark, Kewaunee, Luxemburg-Casco, and Southern Door school districts will participate in this exciting opportunity to check-out the numerous career opportunities available in agriculture. KCEDC is excited to not only celebrate agriculture, but also reiterate the critical role the industry plays in our local and national economy. Ag Career Days will showcase a wide range of careers including; agronomy, milk testing, cheese making, cropping, animal nutrition, agriculture support services, robotics and technology and many more. Careers will be organized into four clusters, with thirty-two (32) different career stations. The informative day also includes a tour of Pagel’s Ponderosa Dairy and lunch sponsored by the agriculture and business community. “The agriculture industry is extremely innovative, technologically advanced and continually growing.
