- Measure producer attitudes
|
The “Voices for Choices” campaign will measure dairy
producer attitudes. DBC is conducting an electronic
survey of producers on management, economic and
marketing issues related to recombinant bovine somatotropin (rBST). (Click here to take the survey, or
click the button below)
The individual surveys are confidential, but overall
results will receive publicity on
DairyLine Radio, the
only nationally syndicated radio program devoted
strictly to the dairy industry; Dairy Profit
Weekly, the nationally distributed weekly
dairy newsletter; on the DBC web sites; and through the company’s three regional
magazines,
Northeast DairyBusiness,
Midwest DairyBusiness and
Western DairyBusiness. |
- Encourage producer involvement
|
Several dairy organizations have already expressed the
need for grassroots efforts on a regional and even
national scale to protect availability and use of rBST
and other technologies, and have endorsed “Voices for
Choices.” To join that effort, please complete our
online form and show your support!

- Encourage industry involvement
|
The VfC campaign will seek support from allied
industries. Messages will be sent to agribusiness firms,
seeking to raise awareness and generate support for
protecting other technology-based dairy management tools
and the positive image of all milk. Click here to see
that message.
- Inform retail leaders that "Milk is Milk"
Download the letters below to make your voice heard! Take
the initiative to fill in this letter and send it to leaders
in the retail industry informing them that all milk is
created equal.
