Corn, soybean, meal futures 
USDA’s latest Crop Progress report indicated 67% of both the U.S. corn and soybean crops in 18 major corn states were rated good to excellent as of June 30, a slight improvement from the week before. About 3% of the corn acreage was in silk; 91% of the soybean acreage had emerged. A summary of today’s futures prices at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange:
Corn: +17¢ for July 2013, to $6.72/bushel; +0.2¢ to +1.6¢ per bushel, September 2013 through December 2014, settling in a range of $5.15 to $5.33/bushel.
Soybeans: +2.6¢ for July 2013, to $15,73/bushel; -0.2¢ to -2.6¢ per bushel, September 2013 through November 2014, settling in a range of $12.27-$12.93/bushel.
Soybean meal: +$2.20 for July 2013, to $487/ton; -$0.10 to +$1.40/ton, September 2013 through December 2014, settling in a range of $365-$395/ton.
