This is the first time the Arden Hills, Minn.-based brand has dipped into the squeeze bottle category, and its new easy-to-use spread pairs best when being used to cook fried eggs or as a topping for corn on the cob when grilling outdoors, the company said.
Land O’Lakes’ Soft Squeeze Butter Spread, which was created with the help devoted bakers to last-minute dinner-makers who tested it in their own kitchen, is now available for purchase at such retailers as Meijer, Publix, Hannaford, Piggly Wiggle, Acme, Demoulas, Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Hy-Vee, King Kullen, Shaw’s and Weis, for the suggested retail price of $3.99.
The product will be expanding to retailers nationwide by the end of summer, the company said.
