Create Dairy Feeder Training Video Series in English and Spanish for On-Farm Use

People around the world depend on dairy farmers and their employees to provide a healthy, safe product for animals that are well taken care of. Good animal care begins with a well-balanced nutrition program for the animals, and that starts with the dairy feeding team.

Cargill’s Diamond V has partnered with The US Dairy Education & Training Consortium (USDETC) to develop a series of free on-demand dairy feeder training videos for use with on-farm employees. The videos, created through a collaboration with New Mexico State University Extension’s Dr. Robert Hagevoort and Diamond V’s Dr. Travis Thayer, cover basic subjects from nutrition and cow health, to mixing factors, to basic farm safety, and are available in both English and Spanish.
