While Sexson will continue to serve farmer-owners in his role at All West/Select Sires, he will provide the entire Select Sires federation with expertise to grow large-herd beef business. Sexson is a graduate of Colorado State University and Oregon State University. Prior to joining the team at All West/Select Sires, Sexson was an animal science instructor, livestock judging team coach and beef unit manager at Oregon State University. In 2015, he was hired by All West/Select Sires and quickly established a team of independent beef representatives. Sexson has served on the Select Sires Red Angus acquisition committee and remains connected to the beef industry outside of his professional role as the marketing committee chair for the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association. He resides in Stanfield, Oregon where he, his wife, Darcy, and sons, Chandler and Calvin, breed and develop Red Angus and Charolais seedstock and quarter horses.
