During his career of more than 65 years as a leading sale manager and unrivaled pedigree expert, Horace Backus may have done more than any other single individual to add value to Registered Holsteins, to instill confidence in the auction sale market and to inspire Holstein breeders everywhere.

The proceeds from the sale will be used to support Horace who is recovering from a stroke suffered earlier this summer.

The Horace Backus Online Memorabilia Auction is being organized by David Rama of The Cattle Exchange, Delhi, N.Y.
