Purchase Tickets by May 1 to Receive Early-Bird Discount
The Dairy Excellence Foundation is hosting its annual farm-to-fork celebration, “A Toast to Dairy,” on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 6-9 p.m. at Melhorn Manor in Mount Joy, Pa. The event includes meal stations sourced with Pennsylvania Preferred ingredients, a selection of artisan cheeses, locally crafted wines and brews, and other networking activities. Individuals who purchase tickets by May 1 will receive an early-bird discount with $10 off each ticket. All proceeds from the event will support the scholarships, internships and curriculum provided through the Dairy Excellence Foundation.
“This event has grown over the years to be a true celebration of all the people, businesses and products that are part of the Pennsylvania dairy industry. It has become an annual tradition for most of our attendees who enjoy trying delicious, Pennsylvania-proud food, while catching up with colleagues and friends and meeting new faces across the industry,” said Emily Barge, Communications and Marketing Manager at the Dairy Excellence Foundation. “We hope to see you there this June to support the next generation of dairy through our dairy education programs.”
This year, the event will feature guided, interactive cheese tastings by the PA Cheese Guild, a dessert bar, and samples from local wineries, breweries and distilleries. Attendees will receive a tasting passport to enjoy samples at each stop. The event will also include raffles, caricature artists, an outdoor courtyard, and opportunities to network with individuals from the dairy community and beyond.
“I love the chance to network with industry professionals and visit with friends [at the event]. The food was fantastic. I liked how everything was independent and not scheduled. This allowed me to mingle at my own pace,” shared an attendee from last year.

“This is one of the ‘must attend’ events of the year, and it supports a great cause. It’s a great event to meet with other folks that have similar interests in supporting our agricultural community, and specifically, the Dairy Excellence Foundation. It’s a very enjoyable evening with great activities. Of course, the food is excellent as well,” said Frank Campbell who regularly attends the event.
