Juniors Sweep International Guernsey Show

The winning Four-Year-Old and Best Uddered Cow of the Show, Donnybrook Ammo Stevie owned by Brittany Taylor and Laylaa Schuler of New Glarus, Wis., took home Senior and Grand Champion of the International Guernsey Show and received the James Crowley, Sr., Senior Champion Award and Allen Hetts Grand Champion Trophy. Reserve Grand Champion of the International Guernsey Show was RHG Villa Breezy Venus-ET owned by Alison, Leo and Brianna Gartman of Sheboygan, Wis. Pr-Valey Gem Summit Quiana, the Four-Year-Old Cow owned by N, E, R & T Chupp, K Brewer, B Carpio, E Allen of Inola, Okla. followed up as the Reserve Senior Champion.

Donnybrook Ammo Stevie also took home Senior Champion and Grand Champion of the International Junior Guernsey Show and the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion of the Junior Show Award. Reserve Grand Champion of the Junior Show was awarded to RHG Villa Breezy Venus-ET and she received the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Reserve Grand Champion Award. The Four-Year-Old Cow, Hi Guern View Drone Antigua, followed behind as Reserve Senior Champion of the Junior Show and is owned by Alaina Dinderman of Orangeville, Ill. Antigua also received the honors of being named Best Bred & Owned of the Junior Show.

RHG Villa Breezy Venus-ET was also chosen as the Intermediate Champion of both the Junior and Open Shows and took home the Eugene Nelson Intermediate Champion Award. The Reserve Intermediate Champion was the winning Senior Two-Year-Old, Pr-Empire McDreamy Lainey, owned by Tim and Megan Schrupp of Paynesville, Minn. The Reserve Intermediate Champion of the Junior Show was the winning Junior Three-Year-Old cow, Twin County Tina Turner, owned by Landree Fraley of Muncy, Pa.

The Junior Champion of the 2026 International Guernsey Show was awarded to the first place Fall Calf, Knapps Pk Drone Beryl-ET, owned by Jesse and Kiley Muse, and Jim and Valerie Spreng and Jay Ackley of Glasgow, Ky. Beryl and owners were also presented with the Norman E. Magnussen Memorial Junior Champion Award. Gold N Pines U Butter Me Up-ETV, leased by Dylan and Cameron Ryan and owned by Bruce, Val, Ashley and Shawon Vande Zande of Fond du Lac, Wis. rose to the top of the Winter Yearling Class before being named Reserve Junior Champion and Junior Champion of the Junior Show. The Reserve Junior Champion of the Junior show was awarded to Valley Gem Pc Jcp Duvet-ETV, leased by Carissa Pitman and owned by Tom and Bill Blue of West Salem, Ohio.

Official judge Chris Lang of Big Prairie, Ohio, and associate judge Kevin Stoltzfus of East Earl, Pa., evaluated 213 entries in the International Guernsey Show and 99 entries in the International Junior Guernsey Show.

Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor of the Show was awarded to Knapp Genetics – Austin and Jenna Knapp of Epworth, Iowa. The Premier Breeder of the Heifer Show was awarded to Adams Creek Farm of Bangor, Wis. The Premier Exhibitor of the Heifer show was Kayleigh Haag of New Glarus, Wis. Indian Acres American Pie was named as the Premier Sire of the Show and Springhill James Dean-ETV was named as the Premier Sire of the Heifer Show.
