Applications due December 1, 2026
Calling high school seniors and college students with a passion for agriculture and the dairy industry: applications for the Alan Koepke Memorial Scholarship are open through Dec. 1, 2026.
The scholarship was established in 2025 to honor the life, legacy and values of Alan Koepke, whose commitment to agriculture, education and people left a lasting impact on the dairy industry. The scholarship fund was established through memorial contributions from family, friends and colleagues into Dairy’s Foundation, reflecting a shared belief in encouraging students who are committed to agriculture.
Beginning for the 2027-28 educational year, the Alan Koepke Memorial Scholarship is expected to award at least one $2,000 scholarship to a high school student (planning to enroll in undergraduate education in fall 2027) and at least one $2,000 scholarship to a college student.
The scholarship is open to students pursuing undergraduate education at an eligible Wisconsin institution, including:
- UW Farm and Industry Short Course.
- Accredited technical schools or colleges within Wisconsin.
- Wisconsin universities with fields of study that may include agricultural business, animal science, food science or related areas.
Applicants should demonstrate a genuine passion for dairy and a desire to use their education, career or talents to develop and support dairy farm owners and businesses that support the dairy industry.
Scholarship recipients will be selected and notified in February 2027 and announced at the PDP Business Conference March 16-17, 2027. Application form and all details are available at www.DairyFoundation.org.
