The 2020 Pennsylvania Forage Conference will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the Dauphin County Extension Office

The 2020 Pennsylvania Forage Conference will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the Dauphin County Extension Office, located at 1451 Peters Mountain Rd, Dauphin, PA 17018. Registration will begin at 8:30 am with the program beginning at 9:00. Visit with industry professionals and farmers and enjoy the day listening and learning about educational topics pertaining to forage production from industry leaders!

Enjoy the opportunity to network with producers and interact with exhibitors from both industry and government alike. Participate in sessions geared to provide practical, useable information that can be taken home and put-to-use.

This year PFGC will have satellite locations for attendees and vendors. The conference will be broadcasted from the main event held in Dauphin, PA in real-time to satellite locations. At these locations, attendees will have the opportunity to visit with local exhibitors during breaks and lunch.

  • Research to Enhance Productivity in Tall Fescue Grazing Systems - Dr. Michael Flythe, USDA-ARS
  • Forage Potential of Intermediate Wheat Grass - Eugene Law, Cornell University
  • Red Clover Isoflavones as Functional Feed in Beef Cattle Production - Dr. Brittany Harlow, USDA-ARS

Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with industry representatives and commercial exhibits, enjoy good food and fellowship!

Pre-registration for the main location will be $45 and registration at the door of the main location in Dauphin will be $60. Satellite locations will be $20 early bird and $60 at the door. Conference and registration information can be found on the AFGC website.
