Mary Kate MacKenzie Joins Cornell PRO-DAIRY’s Business Management Team

Mary Kate (Wheeler) MacKenzie has joined the business management team at PRO-DAIRY in a shared appointment with the South Central NY Dairy and Field Crops Team, according to the PRO-DAIRY e-Leader newsletter. Mary Kate will continue part-time as a farm business management specialist with Cornell Cooperative Extension’s South Central NY Dairy and Field Crops team.

Mary Kate completed her M.S. in Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University in 2017. She now works with dairy producers to improve record-keeping systems, analyze farm financial performance, and plan for the future. She brings a passion for helping farm families improve their management skills to achieve their business and personal goals. She and her husband live near Naples, NY, in the town of Italy, where they manage a grazing farm and retail meat business.
