Dawn has been with SMI for 7 years, previously serving as SMI’s Accounting Manager, where she managed SMI’s accounting department related staff & oversaw all accounting functions of the cooperative, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Producer’s Payroll. She will also continue preparing our producer’s price calculation and pricing letters for our customers.
Dawn grew up in the Finger Lakes area of northern New York state. Both of her grandfathers owned neighboring dairy farms in NY, which led to her parents meeting. Dawn brings 37 years of experience in Milk Marketing & Accounting to SMI, including work in both the public and private sectors.
