FRANK MITLOEHNER, PH.D.

Dr. Frank Mitloehner is a professor and air quality specialist in the Cooperative Extension in the Department of Animal Science at the University of California, Davis. He received his master’s degree in animal science and agricultural engineering from Leipzig University in Germany and his Ph.D. in animal science from Texas Tech University.
Frank has served as chairman of a global partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations on a project to benchmark the environmental footprint of livestock production. He served as a workgroup member on the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) and as a member on the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine committee on “A Framework for Assessing the Health, Environmental, and Social Effects of the Food System.”
MARK STOERMANN

Mark has worked in the dairy and food processing industry over the past 35 years holding a variety of project, operations, and material management positions. Mark came to Newtrient because of his renewable energy industry background and as an outgrowth of his experience with developing and building CNG stations, anaerobic digesters, and the biogas upgrading systems for the dairy industry.

Michael is the Managing Partner of Ash Grove Dairy, a cross-ventilated dairy operation in Lake Benton, MN., and is an alumnus of South Dakota Ag & Rural Leadership. (SDARL).
Michael Crinion joined Dynamic in 2020 as the Region II Manager and has now been promoted to EVP of Strategic Development. He is responsible for overseeing the development and operations of all projects. Michael is involved at all stages of the process, from initiating the conversations with dairy farmers, to engaging with zoning and economic development officials, communicating with engineers, and liaising with all stakeholders to ensure a successful project.
Michael is a rural entrepreneur with extensive knowledge of dairy, beef, sheep, and poultry enterprises, who has experience in implementing ISOs and HACCP protocols. Originally from Ireland, he studied Agriculture and Farm Management at Warrenstown Agricultural College. In 2002, he was the first runner-up in the Farmers’ Business Development’s All Ireland Young Farmer of the Year competition. To extend his farming operations, Michael’s family moved to Brookings, SD in 2004.
AIDAN CONNOLLY
CEO, CAINTHUS
Aidan joined Cainthus as CEO in January 2019. Prior to this, he held the position of CIO at Alltech. During his 25+ years there he worked with a full range of executive and managerial challenges, including direct experience of greenfield startups. He has leadership experience from strategy to operations to production, developing sales programs and developing cohesive teams that deliver strong results. Aidan has worked in over 100 countries and speaks five languages. He has worked in political associations, with state and national governments in the US, China, Europe and Brazil, international organizations such as the European Union and the United Nations.
