Recharge at 2022 PDPW Business Conference in Family-Friendly Destination

Networking, learning and youth program offerings make for perfect dairy getaway

 

While dairy producers are renowned for their ability to succeed despite perpetually uncertain circumstances, it’s important they consistently take time to keep learning – and to relax and unwind. The upcoming PDPW Business Conference will provide ample opportunities to glean “bold ideas and big results” while also providing access to the latest dairy information and technologies along with programming for youth leadership.

“The PDPW Business Conference offers two days’ worth of the industry’s leading dairy producers, presenters and researchers, as well as leadership courses for 15- to 18-year olds,” said Janet Clark, Eldorado, Wis., dairy producer and PDPW vice president. “On top of that, there’s a wide range of activities for families to enjoy at the resort and surrounding Wisconsin Dells area. It’s a great opportunity to take time away from the farm and invest in yourself, your business and your family.”

The PDPW Business Conference will be held March 16-17 at the Kalahari Resorts in Wisconsin Dells, Wis. The two-day schedule features nearly 60 keynote, break-out, hands-on and other sessions designed for all members of a dairy’s team, including sessions simultaneously translated into Spanish.

The “Future of Success,” a series of youth-leadership development programs, will also be held during the conference. Led by coach and trainer Hans Gochenaur, the fast-paced interactive sessions are designed to help teens discover and build on their leadership abilities. Four sessions — one each morning and afternoon of the conference — will focus on communications and listening skills, cultivating character, bolstering confidence and tackling challenges in personal and career paths.

Registered teens will also have the opportunity to attend other breakout and keynote sessions at the conference.
