Join Penn State Extension’s Women Rooted in Agriculture: Value-Added on the Dairy for an on-farm experience as we explore and learn successes and challenges related to starting and operating a value-added enterprise on a dairy farm. Mapes Farm Fresh, LLC is a recently opened on-farm creamery that is processing and selling cream-line milk fresh from their Brown Swiss cows. Participants will also learn about advertising and utilizing social media to effectively market and sell their products.

Lunch will be provided at no additional cost. This event is being offered at no charge to participants.
