Virtual Farm Tour to close out National School Breakfast Week

American Dairy Association Indiana

National School Breakfast Week (NSBW), established in 1989, is an annual weeklong celebration intended to highlight the importance of a nutritious school breakfast!  This year’s theme, “Dig in to School Breakfast,” is a fun way to grab the attention of students and to spark the creativity of school nutrition program operators. Click HERE for resources and more information about the National School Breakfast Week campaign.

Why does school breakfast matter?

Studies show that students who eat school breakfast are more likely to:

  • Reach higher levels of achievement in reading and math
  • Score higher on standardized tests
  • Have better concentration and memory
  • Be more alert
  • Maintain a healthy weight

Join us for a LIVE Virtual Farm Tour to close out NSBW!  Take a glimpse into a modern day, sustainable dairy farm operation at Neu-Hope Dairy in Bluffton, IN!

This tour will explore the different parts of a cow’s diet, some of the cows’ favorite places around the barn, and the conservation practices in play on the farm every day.

With certifications in sustainable farming and animal welfare, the Neu-Hope Dairy team works hard to keep their cows and the environment healthy.
