By the end of the month fall will officially be here, and the Animal Agriculture Alliance’s 15th annual College Aggies Online (CAO) scholarship competition will be in full swing! CAO was started to help college students become confident communicators for agriculture as their peers are increasingly hearing misinformation from various sources – including animal rights groups – on campus and online. So far, there are 176 students signed up to participate in this year’s program which includes nine weeks of training and guidance from animal agriculture professionals and farmers who are serving as mentors. We need your help to pull off this important program! To support CAO in 2023, donate $23 today. All tax-deductible donations will go directly to this year’s program and help support the next generation of agriculture advocates.
Students (undergraduate, graduate and doctorate), clubs, and classes have through September 10 to sign up! To follow along with the students’ efforts, search the hashtag #CAO23 on social media or follow the Alliance as we will be sharing their content throughout the nine weeks.
