Empowering Dairy Promotion with Undeniably Dairy Grants

Midwest Dairy

Midwest Dairy is excited to announce that the Undeniably Dairy Grants program is now open for applications.

This checkoff-funded program offers the opportunity to turn innovative ideas into impactful local dairy promotions. Grant recipients receive the financial support needed to educate and engage consumers on how dairy is good for people, the planet and local communities.

“In 2024, grant recipients did incredible work to foster connections between consumers and the dairy community,” said Jenna Finch, Midwest Dairy Ag Affairs Manager. “It has been a successful grassroots program, and previous events exemplify that.”

Last year, grants were awarded to a number of standout recipients who brought dairy to unexpected places and engaged with gen Z consumers. Some programs included the Prairie Central FFA Chapter, which shared educational materials to Gen Z during local athletics events. In Iowa, the Farm to Fork event brought together local farmers, chefs and 100 consumers for a meal, with each course beginning with where the food was raised and processed. Kids Day on the Farm, hosted by the Dickinson State University Ag Club in North Dakota, provided the opportunity for community members to learn firsthand about agriculture.

Undeniably Dairy Grants is open to Midwest dairy farmers, dairy groups, and agricultural organizations. Applications must meet requirements of the Dairy Promotion and Research Order issued by USDA. Applications are due by March 1 for the first funding cycle.
