The seventeenth episode of Holstein Association USA’s documentary-style video series, Holstein America, premiered September 15 on YouTube. The show is a tribute to America’s dairy farmers and families who care for Registered Holstein cows and provide quality dairy products for the world.
“We are excited to share these diverse stories from our members, showcasing not only the versatility of the Holstein breed, but also the dedication, passion, and stewardship of the people who care for her every day,” says Holstein Association CEO Lindsey Worden.
The latest episode takes viewers to Trent-Way Genetics near Blanchardville, Wisconsin, where Trent and Kelsey Hendrickson are raising a family and a herd of high-quality Registered Holsteins. The show also travels to Newalta Dairy in Pipestone, Minnesota, where breeding the next generation of elite Registered Holsteins is always top of mind. Then, Holstein America journeys to the northeast and visits Thorncrest Farm near Goshen, Connecticut, a family dairy known for its delicious chocolates, which are made fresh from quality milk from their herd.
New this year, Holstein America is released as a 20-minute YouTube episode. The video series documents daily life on dairy farms across the country, and explores the products and services offered by Holstein Association USA. The online format allows viewers to watch anytime from their television, computer, tablet, or mobile device. Subscribe to the association’s YouTube channel for reminders and notifications.
