Call for Abstracts and early registration for the ICAR 2020 Annual conference are now open

CRV, Qlip, WUR Dairy Campus, ICAR and Interbull organize the next ICAR 2020 Annual Conference and the Interbull meeting in Leeuwarden. The conference will be held from June 8 till 12.

 This conference is dedicated to circular economic farming and its impact on animal genetics, recording of data and cattle / herd management. The conference will start with the Interbull open meetings on Monday and Tuesday. The latest developments in dairy and beef cattle breeding will be presented. Then on Wednesday there are the joint ICAR-Interbull sessions on introduction to circular economic farming and its impact on breeding and breeding goals. In addition recent developments in data analysis will be presented as well as possible applications of block chain in recording activities. Topics for Thursday are herd management in a circular economic farming, and new developments in animal identification and milk recording. The Friday morning sessions are on data governance and latest development in sensor technology to collect data on animals. More details on the program are here.

Participants for this conference are from all over the world. This conference is of special interest for all who are involved in cattle breeding, animal recording and sensor technology, both on research levels as on management level.

 

 

Call for Abstracts

If you plan to participate to this conference and if you wish to report any developments related to one of the sessions, you are cordially invited to submit an abstract, which is here.

Early Registration
Early registration is now open until March 31st. Late registration (from June 1st) and on-site registration is possible, but € 150 extra on top of the congress fee will be charged. On-site payment in Leeuwarden will be accepted only by credit card.
