Diving Into the Data, Insights from the 2025 Dairy Producer Survey

Thanks to those of you who joined us for our bi-monthly “Protecting Your Profits” webinar on Friday! With the release of the 2025 Pennsylvania Dairy Producer Survey results, we took some time to dive into the data and break down the trends, challenges and opportunities from the survey results — and discussed what this means for the state of Pennsylvania dairy.

Ginger Fenton from Penn State Extension, and Jayne Sebright and Valerie Mason-Faith from the Center for Dairy Excellence, shared interesting findings and takeaways from the survey results, with a positive response rate that represents between 12-15 percent of the total dairy farm population in PA.
