
Scheduled for June 23 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. CST, Vice President Sustainability Modeling & Measurement Fabian Bernal of Dairy Management Inc. will present the study’s findings, moderated by AEM’s Director of Agricultural Services Austin Gellings.
The study shares benefits of dairy and the practices associated with modern dairy production, while debunking common myths and misconceptions about modern dairy practices. Additionally, it quantifies how far farmers have come and projects the achievements that can be reached by 2030 if the industry continues along the trend of innovation. The webinar will then discuss a roadmap for how the industry will start to achieve the goal of reaching net zero by 2050.
AEM, The National Milk Producers Federation and Dairy Farmers of America continue to work together to advance technologies and practices that will bring the potential the study highlights to fruition including promoting policies that reward innovation, growing farm income, improving enabling infrastructure and improving consumer communication.
