Five-Year-Old Canadian Cow Takes Top Prize in the International Junior Holstein Show

The winning Five-Year-Old Cow, Arolene Dempsey Ella, took home Senior and Grand Champion titles at the 2026 International Junior Holstein Show at World Dairy Expo^® on Sunday. For this honor, Ella and owner, Alyson Doiron, of Cap-Santé, Quebec, Canada, received the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion of the Junior Show Award. The Reserve Grand Champion and the Intermediate Champion was the winning Senior Three-Year-Old Cow, Go-Sho Tatoos In Jericho-ET, owned by Tessa & Stella Schmocker, Sadie Kropf and Tristan Ostrom of Whitewater, Wis. The Reserve Grand Champion honor received the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Reserve Grand Champion of the Junior Show Award.

Official judge, Ben Wallace of Stoughton, Wis. and associate judge, Phillip Topp of Botkins, Ohio, evaluated the 301 entries in the International Junior Holstein Show.

The Reserve Senior Champion, Allegro Thunder Struck Cabell, was the winning Four-Year-Old. She is owned by Olivia and Emily Feltmann of Norwood, Minn. RJR Gone Away-ET, owned by Noah Reuter of Peosta, Iowa, was the second place Senior Three-Year-Old Cow and Reserve Intermediate Champion.

Junior Champion of the 2026 International Junior Holstein Show was awarded to the first-place Winter Yearling, Walk-Era Aint She Fancy-ET, owned by Kaylee and Carter Jackson of Barron, Wis. Heritage Crazy Drama-ET, owned by Madison and Melanie Sarbacker of Whitewater, Wis., rose to the top of the Winter Heifer Class before being named Reserve Junior Champion.
