FMMO Modernization: What’s Next? Webinar

National Milk Producers Federation

NMPF

Thursday, March 30 | 1:00 PM Eastern Time

The Federal Milk Marketing Order (FMMO) program is a key pillar of U.S. milk pricing that relies on a complex system of product price formulas. To operate effectively for dairy farmers and their cooperatives, these price formulas need to be kept current to reflect changes in the evolving industry. But many factors have not been updated since they were first implemented 22 years ago. A team of experts from NMPF’s member cooperatives have been working for over a year to develop a comprehensive set of updates needed to modernize the system. These recommendations were unanimously approved by the NMPF Board of Directors earlier this month. Join the National Young Cooperators Program for a webinar to learn more about these updates, what they mean for dairy farmers and what the next steps in the FMMO modernization process are.
