U.S. dairy was well-represented at
ICAR 2023, held May 22-26, in Toledo, Spain. “Breeding for resilience: transitioning diverse livestock farming systems into the future” was the theme of the event hosted by International Committee on Animal Recording (ICAR).
CDCB’s delegation included João Dürr, Javier Burchard, Andres Legarra and Ezequiel Nicolazzi, along with board members John Clay and Jay Mattison, and PhD Fellow Fiona Guinan.

st Vice President, along with Daniel Lefevre of Lactanet as President and Neils Henning Schneider Nielsen from Viking as 2
nd VP. ICAR has appointed Marie-Agnes Mourot de Lathyle as the new Chief Executive, replacing Martin Burke.
