Matthew Heisner and Julie Whitmer will support Nedap dairy technology tools with farmers and business partners

Heisner will be responsible for supporting Nedap technology in the North American market as well as guiding the development of future products. He will collaborate with Nedap business partners and producers to enhance business relationships and increase on-farm management success.
“I want to see every farmer succeed and the industry continue to be the backbone for feeding the ever-growing world population with wholesome, nutritious and diverse food options,” he says. “My goal is to make an industry-wide impact and continue to help foster all farms toward a profitable, sustainable and innovative future.”
Heisner earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural leadership education from the University of Illinois, as well as certifications in leadership training from GEA Farm Technologies Inc. Heisner grew up on a dairy farm in northern Illinois and has been involved with the dairy industry his entire life.
Prior to joining Nedap, he has served as a technical specialist, configuration specialist and managed distribution channel teams for GEA Farm Technologies Inc. Additionally, Heisner has experience in troubleshooting, team training, support structure integration, warranty support and working with multidisciplinary teams.
He is based in Sycamore, Illinois.
Whitmer will work with Nedap Livestock Management’s North American dairy business partners and identify opportunities for Nedap solutions to promote more efficient dairy herd management and increased farm profitability.
“My experiences and dairy background have forged valuable relationships and increased my knowledge from many different perspectives,” she says. “I’m looking forward to working with our business partners and their producers to harness the actionable data available through Nedap technology and helping bring new innovations to their toolboxes.”
Whitmer earned a bachelor’s degree focused on animal science from The Ohio State University.
She’s owned and operated a dairy breeding and consulting business, served as a district sales representative for Semex, a reproductive sales manager for Afimilk and a dairy solutions specialist for BouMatic.
Whitmer is based near Greenville, Ohio, where she is also active on her family’s dairy farm.
