Free online episodes offer insights to help producers make informed decisions
Will Babler, Principal, Atten Babler Commodities LLC, will provide insights on risk management strategies that can help dairy producers navigate volatile market conditions. Paul Bleiberg, Senior Vice President, Government Relations, National Milk Producers Federation, will share the latest news from Washington, D.C., and possible impacts on the dairy industry.
Matthew Oehmichen, part owner of Short Lane Ag Supply, and Peter Graff, dairy producer from Stetsonville, Wis., will share experiences with cover crops and how they can be incorporated in cropping plans.
Developed by fellow dairy farmers from the PDPW Board of Directors, The Dairy Signal is a weekly series of free educational episodes offering insights and resources for fellow dairy farmers and other food system professionals throughout the value chain. The episodes air live from 12:00-1:00 PM CT each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; recorded sessions are available later in the day.
Amber Radatz, Co-Director of Discovery Farms, provided an update on March 10 of ongoing work, research priorities and opportunities for farmers to get involved in on-farm research and grant opportunities within the Discovery Farms system.
