Novus Employees Surpass Goal for Local Giving

Since its formation, Novus International, Inc. and its employees have been working to support charities in their local communities through the United Way. This year, Novus employees and business partners have surpassed previous records raising $135,917. Novus matched all donations bringing the total contribution to $271,834 for the United Way.

Every year, the Novus offices in the United States collaborate on a fundraising campaign to help support local organizations through the United Way. The teams host events such as raffles and bingo to a golf tournament that brings Novus employees and business partners together to help support the local communities in which Novus does business. Novus employees also generously pledge dollars to the cause through one-time donations as well as payroll deductions.

“Our employees here at Novus are truly passionate about the mission of United Way to Help people live their best possible lives and our campaign committee led a strong effort to engage all members of the company this year,” said Francois Fraudeau, President and CEO. “It is amazing to see the positive impact that our employees have on their local community with just a few weeks of focused efforts.”

Contributions this year supported the United Way of Greater St. Louis, United Way Heart of Arkansas, United Way of Brazoria County and United Way of Greater Houston. Again this year, the largest contribution was made in the home community of Novus’s global headquarters, to the Greater St. Louis United Way who also broke fund raising records. United Way helps people live their best possible lives by funding and working through dozens of local agencies.

The full throttle support for the United Way campaign at Novus comes on the heels of Pedal the Cause, which is also very popular with employees at Novus’s global headquarters. This year, the Novus team of 36 riders, raised just shy of $30,000 to support research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids to move closer to A World Without Cancer.

Novus has a long history of local community involvement and support and is committed to improving the lives of those around them. The company encourages employees to donate to charitable causes important to them, and through the Novus Matching Gift Fund, matches donations dollar for dollar and even matches volunteer time.
