
Dairy Industry and Community Encouraged to Join in June 18 Blood Drive at PDP Headquarters in Juneau, Wis.
Professional Dairy Producers (PDP) is inviting members of the dairy industry and community to participate in their annual blood drive during June Dairy Month. The blood drive will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, at 820 N. Main Street in Juneau. The blood drive will be overseen by the American Red Cross.
Donors can registered for a preferred time slot here and find more details on the PDP website. All donors should drink plenty of water and eat a healthy meal before donating.
In honor of June Dairy Month and PDP’s membership base of dairy professionals, PDP will offer donors milk and cookies, grilled cheese sandwiches, yogurt, ice cream and more. In addition, the American Red Cross will offer donors a $15 gift card.
Professional Dairy Producers represents dairy producers and allied dairy professionals from 2,000 dairy farms across 36 states. The largest dairy producer-led organization of its kind in the nation, it focuses on producer professionalism, stakeholder engagement and unified outreach to share ideas, solutions, resources and experiences that help dairy producers succeed.
