The Books Help Dairy Farms Comply with National FARM 5.0 Requirements
With more than 7,200 books distributed to date, the record-keeping books are intended to help dairy farmers document standard operating procedures, regular care, treatments of their dairy animals, and other guidelines outlined in the FARM Program. One book should cover three program years for a smaller-sized herd.
Dairy producers can order copies directly for their farm, and veterinarians can order free copies of the books for their dairy clients. Click here to request a free copy of the book to be mailed to you or call the Center at 717-346-0849.
The record-keeping books were compiled by the Center for Dairy Excellence using resources from the National FARM Program, AllTech, the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, Mid-Maryland Dairy Veterinarians, and Valley Mobile Veterinary Services.
