The Monthly Call Will Be Held on Wednesday, July 9th at 1 pm
The Center for Dairy Excellence’s “All Things Dairy” monthly conference call aims to provide a platform for organizations and industry partners to share timely updates, resources, programs, and upcoming events relevant to the dairy community. The next call is scheduled for July 9 at 1 p.m. EST and will provide tips for preparing for fair season and interacting with the public and biosecurity tips for showing cattle.
During the July 9th call, get updates on:
- Preparing for fair season and interacting with the public. Summertime means county fairs, farm tours, and lots of opportunities to interact with the public. Beth Meyer, from American Dairy Association North East, will share tips on how to prepare for these occasions, answer tough questions on timely topics, and connect with consumers.
- Biosecurity tips for showing cattle. Many dairy farmers may also be showing cattle at summer fairs. Seth Confer, Biosecurity Program Specialist at the PA Department of Agriculture, will share biosecurity tips and things to keep in mind to protect your animals this summer as you prep for fair season.
