Tri-State Manure Field Day

Putnam Soil and Water Conservation District is proud to announce a Tri-State Manure Field Day, taking place July 11th, 2024 at GreenTop Acres, LLC in Paulding County. The premise of the field day is to connect livestock producers, manure applicators and agricultural professionals together. This field day will foster an opportunity for the attendees to develop personal and professional connections within the agricultural community to further strengthen their network.

Registration will begin at 8 am, the field day will start at 8:30 am.

Lunch will be included.

• 360 Rain
• Emergency Spill Response
• Rainfall Stimulator

Learning Sessions:

• Manure Safety
• Manure Regulations
• Manure Sampling, Record Keeping & Nutrient Balancing
• Impacts of Using Manure on Soil Health, Nitrogen Rates, Water Quality & Farmer Profitability

Tour of the Dairy is optional at the end of the field day.
