Visit Minnesota Farmers Union and Farmers Union Agency at Farmfest 2021

MFU and FUA staff and Agents will be at Farmfest, Aug. 3-5, in lot 509

 

Minnesota Farmers Union (MFU) and Farmers Union Agency (FUA), a full-service insurance agency fully owned by MFU, invite you to visit them at Farmfest.

MFU and FUA staff and Agents will be at Farmfest, Aug. 3-5, in lot 509, a blue hoop building just west of the Wick Buildings Farmfest Center. Farmfest is held at Gilfillan Estate near Morgan, Minn.

Farmfest brings together farmers, agribusinesses and government and agricultural organizations from across Minnesota. Many policy makers and thought leaders will be in attendance to hear from constituents, including former USDA Undersecretary of Agriculture Bill Northey, former House Agriculture Committee Chairman Collin Peterson, Minnesota Agriculture Commissioner Thom Petersen and most of Minnesota’s congressional delegation.

“Farmfest is always a great place to visit with members, listen to lawmakers and see the latest in new farm equipment,” said MFU President Gary Wertish. “I encourage all farmers and rural residents to come to Farmfest and engage with elected officials on rural policy, as well as visit the Farmers Union booth.”

National Farmers Union president Rob Larew will participate in an ag policy panel at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 3 in the Farmfest Center and Wertish will participate in a panel on designing the ideal farm bill at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 4.
