He’ll address grain markets by pointing out stressors across the country that could impact grain prices moving forward and he’ll analyze how past weather events have impacted summertime markets. In addition, he’ll provide the latest forecasts for the upcoming growing season and showcase methods of forecasting excessive heat, moisture and drought.

Eric Snodgrass is the Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also the co-founder of Global Weather and Climate Logistics, LLC., which recently merged with Agrible Inc., a precision farm management and predictive analytics company, where he serves as co-founder and senior atmospheric scientist.
