Youth Dairy and Livestock Day provides hands-on learning for youth in the following topics: farm culturing, biosecurity, parasites, and farm safety. Youth that attend the event will also participate in a fun educational activity that requires implementing the knowledge learned throughout the day and teamwork to complete each task.
This event is being offered at no charge to participants.

What will you learn?
- How to perform milk cultures and their importance
- How to be more conscious of Biosecurity measures and prevent the spread of bacteria
- Learn the basics of parasite infections in livestock and how to prevent infections
- Identify farm hazards and use a PTO simulator to determine reaction times
