Area dairy producers invited to event March 14th from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

The program features two of only three published herds on test in New York with a Rolling Herd Average over 30,000 lbs. on twice a day milking! The program will kick off with Nicole Tommell, Ag Business Management Specialist for the CNYDLFC Team, discussing What Does the Data Say About High Production and Profitability? The remainder of the program will feature these two high producing herds along with their nutritionists and veterinarians. First up will be the Brumar Farm (393 cows) Team from Fort Plain . The Matis family will be joined by their nutritionist Shawn Lasher and Veterinarian Dr. Lisa Tobler in discussing the approach and practices they employ to give them the outstanding results they are achieving. Next will be the Woodlawn Dairy Farm (227 cows) Team from Richfield Springs. The Cantwell family will be joined by their nutritionist Kienan Gridley and Veterinarian Dr. Erika Osborne in discussing the approach and practices they employ to give them the outstanding results they achieve. Time will be available for questions. The venue, The Otesaga Resort Hotel, provides an outstanding first class experience.
