Dairy Margin Coverage (DMC) Registration Announced for 2023

Are you interested in enrolling in the Dairy Margin Coverage (DMC) Program for the 2023 year, or do you know a dairy producer who might be? Last week, the USDA Farm Service Agency announced the enrollment period for the 2023 DMC Program. Dairy producers have from October 17 through December 9, 2022 to request DMC coverage for 2023. DMC continues to offer protection to dairy producers when the difference between the all-milk price and the average feed price (the margin) falls below a certain dollar amount selected by the producer. We’ll share more details as they are announced.
