The United States is recognized around the world for the ability to produce large volumes of high-quality dairy, beef, swine, sheep, goats, horses, and other livestock. DATCP’s International Agribusiness Center and the Livestock Exporters Association of the USA (LEA) are teaming up to offer a free workshop that will present the latest export protocols, export certificate requirements, export financing, insurance, and other considerations that exporters have to face.
New or experienced exporters, LEA members, industry affiliates, seedstock producers and breeders, those interested in having their farms used as quarantine facilities, veterinarians, and freight providers wanting to become more familiar with the export process will benefit from this in-depth discussion and information sharing.
This workshop will be held from noon to 4 p.m. in the Kegonsa Room at the Alliant Energy Center. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The cost is free after purchasing admission to World Dairy Expo. Registration is required. To register, visit https://forms.office.com/g/N1L0e39XaH.
