Executive-level training to train leaders engage sharper thinking for stronger leadership.
The 2027 Managers Academy for Dairy Professionals® presented by Professional Dairy Producers® (PDP) will feature sessions led by industry experts as well as out-of-industry tours to help dairy executives, owners and senior leaders more proficiently use technology as a management tool. Over three days, attendees will explore new tools for making decisions, challenge their technology assumptions and see firsthand how other industries simplify complexity, leverage technology and guide people through change.
The 2027 Managers Academy will be held January 19-21, 2027, at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona. The program is developed by PDP in collaboration with Progressive Dairy, Progressive Dairy Solutions and Rabo AgriFinance.
Two critically acclaimed experts will facilitate in-class sessions that will bookend a full day of out-of-industry tours:
- Sam Richter will lead interactive sessions exploring the intentional use of artificial intelligence to reduce complexity, automate work and enhance creativity, while protecting a people-first culture. Richter is founder and CEO of SBR Worldwide, LLC, an AI-powered digital insight company whose portfolio spans Generative AI training, writing, sales intelligence and more. He is a keynote speaker and best-selling author who has created programs, technology and business strategy for global leaders.
- Holly Green will use interactive exercises, practical tools and neuroprompts to help executives understand why they make decisions, how others think and how leaders can be more effective in an increasingly complex industry and world. Green is a business leader, behavioral scientist and expert in helping leaders leverage their brains to achieve greater success. Former president of The Ken Blanchard Companies and co-founder of a biotech firm, she has worked with elite performers in the military, sports as well as two U.S. presidents.
The tours are designed to give attendees an inside look at examples of successful leadership and provide new perspectives on common business challenges. Attendees will:
- Learn how Queen Creek Olive Mill has added value to Arizona-grown olives by building a direct connection to customers. Hear from company leaders and tour the state’s only olive mill to see production, processing and retail experiences firsthand.
- Explore part of the Salt River Project canal system to see how innovative water infrastructure and long-term planning support growth in a resource-constrained region like Phoenix.
