Alltech announces winner of Most Valuable Employee Award

 

Alltech Wisconsin recognizes the value of employees who possess an exceptional work ethic, exhibit integrity and engage in their responsibilities. As such, Alltech Wisconsin is pleased to present the Most Valuable Employee (MVE) Award in recognition of the most valuable employee on a dairy farm in the Alltech Wisconsin region, which includes Wisconsin, Minnesota and northern Illinois.

Ian Manthe, a fourth-generation dairy farmer with Stoney Creek View Dairy, received the 2021 Alltech Wisconsin MVE Award on Thursday, Dec. 2, in Green Bay, Wis.

“In March, we lost my dad in a farming accident, and Ian has grown immensely over the past 6 months,” said Libby Manthe, co-owner of Stoney Creek View Dairy and Ian’s sister. “He impresses me every day with how he does things and how he manages things.”

“Ian represents the American dairy farmer,” said Jorge Delgado, manager of the Alltech Training, Talent Development and Retention Program for Dairy Workers (Alltech T²R Program). “No matter what happens you still need to take care of the animals and the farm, and he is doing just that.”

The best employees add value to the dairy by thriving in their roles, maintaining their responsibilities, creating a safe and positive work environment for their co-workers, and speaking highly of their employers, both on and off the farm. When dairy farms and their employees develop long-term relationships and celebrate each other’s hard work, everyone involved reaps valuable benefits.

“Every company should be doing this to engage dairy workers and encourage workers in the industry,” said Delgado.
