A special thank you to the team at USDA AGIL for the initial development of the new calf health traits, to the industry for the feedback that led to the foundational review of female reproductive performance traits, and to the producers who stepped up to the plate and began sharing calf health data as these new traits launch. The strength of the U.S. system comes from each of you alongside the highly talented team of geneticists, researchers, data analysts, and others at CDCB who work to provide the dairy community with transparent, high-quality genetic evaluations.
