United Dairy Families of California (UDFC) has announced two meeting dates for the phase 2 of its ongoing process to review the Quota Implementation Plan (QIP). Producers will have the option to register for any one of four sessions to be held as follows:
Heritage Complex Social Hall
4500 S Laspina St, Tulare, CA 93274
Modesto on Sept. 26 at 9-11 a.m. or 2-5 p.m.
Stanislaus County Agricultural Center
3800 Cornucopia Way #B
Modesto, CA 95358
Phase 1 of the process was attended by over 370 producers and industry professionals last month, where quota holders and non-quota holders generated a plethora of ideas on how to best address quota moving forward.
To prepare for productive feedback, attendees should read informational documents ahead of the meetings. Those preparatory documents should be available soon and notifications will be sent out, according to UDFC leaders.
In the meantime, prospective attendees can register for the upcoming meetings by clicking https://www.dairyfamilies.org/events. The meetings are free and open to all dairymen but organizers want to be prepared for the numbers attending.
The Phase 1 presentation is also available at the same link.
