Every California dairy producer is invited to attend one of four meetings discussing the dairy quota program in the Golden State. The two producer groups supporting and opposing quota – United Dairy Families and Stop Qip – along with the three major dairy co-ops are in agreement supporting this effort.
Then on July 25, the two trade groups, Milk Producers Council and Western United Dairies, issued a statement joining the groups. The release said [the trade groups] “join together in support of a process for dairy producers to have a statewide conversation about quota.”

- Wednesday, July 31 – 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. – Heritage Complex, Tulare
2 p.m. – 4 p.m. – Turlock Ballroom
- Thursday, Aug. 1 – 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Washoe House, Petaluma
Organizers report that meeting space is limited and urge all participants to register online at www.dairyfamilies.org/events.
