Cathy Young, Center of Excellence for Food and Agriculture, talks on in-depth report calling for innovation in New York’s agri-food system

Cornell has issued a new and in-depth report calling for innovation and investment in New York’s agri-food system. Spearheaded by the Center of Excellence for Food and Agriculture, the 62-page publication covers the full range of ag in the Empire State. Joel Hastings of Dairybusiness News interviews Cathy Young, executive director of the Center, who talks about the report’s potential impact. Young grew up on a dairy farm south of Rochester and earlier served in the New York State Senate as chair of the ag committee.
