Late Friday night, CDFA reported it had received 392 ballots for the current quota referendum, which means it needs to receive another 10 ballots to meet the minimum 51% requirement. This assumes all the ballots received to date are valid, i.e., the person who submitted it didn’t forget to sign, the person who signed it is authorized to do so, etc.
As a reminder, ballots for the current quota referendum must be postmarked by Thursday, January 9, 2025.
